When A Calf Goes Septic

At some point this calf got really sick. So sick that, the vet said that, it went septic. This is when all the poison of the infection goes into the blood. For this calf that infection went down into its hooves and it ended up needing a small hole drilled into its hoof in order that the infection might be drained out. Now several days later after surgery we open everything up and this is what we find.
