2018-09-05 Camera has been on the Moultrie solar panel nonstop for over a year now. The camera made it through the California Ranch fire on a tree. It sent 65 pictures in a 24 hour period at the height of the fire and 50-60 a day during another 4 day period. That solar panel sure held up. Batteries would have died for sure. A CalFire fireman spotted my camera and my camera took his picture.
2019-12-01 UPDATE This functional camera has been removed from service due to cost of operation at $30 per month and has full filled its intended purpose of catching and convicting tresspassers. That activity has ceased. It has been replaced with a Spypoint EVO-V. offering a one time camera cost of $180 and 100 free pictures every month.
To date this has been my most reliable cellular game camera deployed in the field. That is requiring the least amount of visits to keep it up and running.
