2022 Trek Rail Review - Bigger and Better Than Ever

Next gen Trek Rail gets a huge 750Wh battery, all new Bosch Smart motor system, updated geometry that closely follows the Trek Slash and some cool new tech from Rockshox called AirWiz that sits on the RockShox Zeb and Super Deluxe Shock to wirelessly send air pressure to your phone.

Model is the Trek Rail 9.9 AXS priced at £12,450. I weighed it at 23.4 KG in XL when setup tubeless without pedals. The new range starts with the 9.8 and prices start at £8,250.

For 2022 the Trek rail 9.8 models and above have the new frame, which is longer than previous models in reach, has a steeper seat tube, 29er front and rear but mullet ready with flip chip, a 64.5 degree head angle, aggressive enduro based geometry and the 85Nm Bosch Smart System with new 750 RIB removable battery.
