The install will take about 2 hours if you do it the way I show and about half of that is drying time for the 3M Paint Defender that I used so that I wouldn't buff the paint under the Rocker Panel.

The primary reason to have these Rocker Panel / Door Sills / Kick Plates is to keep the mud and stones you kick up on the trail. Combining it with the rock rails gives you both paint protection from the Panels, and body protection from the rails.

My Jeep is a 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon Hard-Rock with a 3.6 Liter V6 "Pentastar". It makes about 285 horse power. Yes, I considered a Ford Raptor, but I'm a Jeep guy, and they didn't have a Raptor for 2015 or 2016. I am not waiting until 2017.

It is believed this is the last year Jeep Wrangler with Solid Axles so I wanted to get one before the change, especially since diesels are unlikely to be available anytime soon, especially with the VW Emissions Cheating Scandal.
