Kristian Valen lives in Norway, but have also a LA home in Hollywood Hills.
Kristian was doomed to a life without a job according to all of his teachers at school after they all told him he would never get an education or job since his grades was so bad + he left a promising pro football carrier cause "it got to serious and since my dad was on the national soccer team I wanted to find my own way and try to find something that would give me something as well as being able to have a job that could maybe make a difference in somebody else´s life.". When he was 22 (after being in the army for some time...) he asked around the business hoping that some producer would like his ide´s and see his talent. But after 2 years with only rejections he borrowed some money from his dad to put up his own show. The show was only planned to run for 1 weekend, but ended up selling nearly 200.000 tickets and ran for almost 4 years.

Then came tv, and the same thing happened all over again with the word "NO".
When Kristian was asked if he sometimes was bitter at the people telling him no and never believing in his talent he said:
"No, I actually thank them cause the word NO actually fueled me more and made me work harder and I still enjoy every single minute on stage as it is my last and I feel like winning the lottery to be able to do what I love as my job! Being on stage or in front of a camera doing something that will put a smile on somebody´s face or give a total stranger an experience that will give them some minutes to forget about the real life means everything!"
