Raiders News & Rumors: Earl Thomas Free Agency? Mariota On IR + Kaepernick Better Than Derek Carr?

Raiders Rumors and News follow several players on the Raiders roster as well as free agents they could look to add. Earl Thomas is still on the market after being released by the Ravens last month, but Mitchell Renz thinks a move for the safety is unlikely. Backup quarterback Marcus Mariota was placed on IR today with a pectoral injury, and Las Vegas signed DeShone Kizer for insurance behind Derek Carr.

The Raiders re-signed linebacker Kyle Wilbur to fill Mariota’s roster spot and subsequently named him one of the Raiders’ captains for the 2020 season. The other Raiders captains are Derek Carr, Rodney Hudson, Eric Harris, Maliek Collins and Nick Kwiatowski.
