Massive fire engulfs apartment building in Koreatown
A massive fire engulfed a two-story apartment building in the Koreatown neighborhood of Los Angeles on Friday night. Firefighters responded to the building located on the 115 block of South Catalina Street at around 4:50 p.m.
Arriving crews found heavy smoke and flames coming from the upper-story windows. At least one person was seen running from the building with their belongings while neighbors exited nearby homes for safety.
