Extract Prompt

This video describes the Extract Prompt pattern, when to use it, the benefits of doing so, and it explores an example of using the pattern in software development. This example also shows how I use Baby Steps to avoid trying to solve a problem that's too big and ambiguous to tackle at once.

In fact, you'll spot a few moments of bemusement when I inspect the model's output and see it did the wrong thing. I left this in because honestly, these things don't always go perfectly, and because it gave me the opportunity to practice another pattern, Call Out Error. So three patterns, all in one video!
