Watch me learn a new MTB trick: the infamous suicide no hander!

I recently decided to commit to trying this trick that I've always wanted to do, but was always intimidated by the consequences of messing it up! The suicide no hander is one of the most classic tricks you can do on a mountain bike, so it's been on my list of goals for a while now.

Documenting the process was a helpful motivation to finally just go for it.. when I'm out riding the MTB, it's usually easy to convince myself that it's a good idea not to try something new so I don't get hurt, but making a video about it was the push I needed to just let go. Pushing through mental barriers is one of the most rewarding experiences on the bike for me!

The jumps I'm lapping in this video are on a trail called "flying squirrel" at Duthie Hill in Issaquah, WA near Seattle. It's probably the coolest public bike park I've ever been to. Plenty of options for all riders from beginner to expert, and a really great place to go if you want to learn how to hit jumps or to progress the skills you already have.

As this channel is in it's very early stages, feedback(positive and negative) is greatly appreciated! I'd love to hear your thoughts, questions, or if you have had similar experiences trying something that was scary, but turned out to be easier than you thought.

Thanks for watching, and let me know if you want to see more videos like this in the future!!
