On The Newshour Agenda, with Padmaja Joshi, reveals understated facts over the ongoing Ram mandir scandal and its extended right between BJP and the opposition. On August 5th, 2020, PM Modi laid the foundation stone and performed a bhumi puja of a bhavya Ram Mandir. The opposition, however, has red-flagged the PM’s visit to the site and pointed towards a land scam right where Lord Ram was born. While the bhakts rejoiced the final accomplishment of the Ram Temple foundation, this scam has been aimed at shattering the trust of the rejoicing devotees. There have been various underlying facts over the construction of Ram Mandir, since last year. “I believe it’s a very prudent decision to obtain this land (Ram Mandir) near the railway station for infrastructural facilities,” says, Alok Kumar, International Working President, VHP.
