Band of Gold - Freda Payne - a fuTuRo re-fResh

I've always loved this great song and performance by Freda Payne from 1970. Written by Holland–Dozier–Holland (under the pseudonym of Edythe Wayne due to legal problems with Motown) and Ron Dunbar. It reached No.3 in the Billboard charts and No.1 in the UK for an astonishing 6 weeks!
Reinforced and extended with new drums and strings plus I sped it up a little as I always felt the original was a bit slow...it's a lot more danceable now!
