Zardozi Documentary - Indian Craft

Zardozi is an Indian needle craft; and its study from a socio - economic perspective was done. As intervention, a designer's contribution in the current scenario, commercial aspects along with focus on sustainability was the main aim.

As a part of student curriculum, a documentary based on the research project on craft cluster in delhi, put up in Turkman Gate was made and pubished. Extensive research and study of zardozi was done, by sources,craftsmen and residents was done.

The research project was carried out for 4 months with other collaterals as - extensive thorough research report, a visual presentation to conclude compiled data and a coffee table book on the current craft scenario.
