Rock Crawling the 7-Speed Manual Base Bronco Without Lockers on Holcomb Creek Trail!

This week Steffie and Dusty continue their benchmarking campaign on the 2021 2-Door Base Bronco, in a quest to find out what you can or can't do in the Cheapest Bronco You Can Buy™. At $28.5K, Chanel the Stripper Bronco doesn't have any lockers and comes with the 7-speed manual transmission and the smaller 2.3L motor (although we did stick some 35's on it). Of course it's handicapped compared to it's Sasquatch-equipped brothers, but does it have to sit on the sidelines while all the fun is being had? Come along with us as we find out!

This time we're on Big Bear's famous Holcomb Creek Trail, a moderately difficult mountain trail with a couple of nasty rock gardens full of slippery, wet, river-rounded boulders. Sounds like the perfect spot for some testing! We brought along some of our friends from So Cal Broncos and Dusty's co-workers from ICON Vehicle Dynamics (there's a glimpse of the ICON 4-door on 37's too!).

By the way, many have asked what lift we're running in order to clear the 35's. We might do a separate video on it at some point but it's an ICON 3/2 Coilover Spacer Kit. You can check it out at https://iconvehicledynamics.com/accessory/17743/
