This is the first video of my solo phase training aimed at making sure I approach flying this plane slowly and safely. I am starting out with slow to medium speed taxi work on the runway. This is for me to get used to the "quirky" rudder pedals (direct linkage) and to get a good feel for the plane.

However, ground ATC notified me of a burst of smoke so I cut the training short to make sure we didn't have an oil issue.
