Children living and working in New Delhi landfills for $2 per day
Regardless of attempts to offer better everyday environments to the children of New Delhi, many them keep on living in and around trash dumps outside the Indian capital. The kids are experiencing childhood in New Delhi's 70-section of land Ghazipur landfill, a dystopian world where many pickers climb a 100-foot-high junk heap everyday, evading bulldozers. On the "garbage mountain," families earn $1 to $2 a day laboring through profound filth.
