Rosalina - The Oil of Malleability

Rosalina, also known as swamp paperbark and lavender tea tree, is found on the south-east corner of the Australian mainland as well as the island of Tasmania. It is a tall, dense shrub or tree with pale white or brownish papery bark, dark green linear leaves and late spring blossoms of creamy-white. She is at home beside streams and in coastal swamps, and has a reputation as being one of the heartiest of all native plants. When the leaves and green twigs are steam-distilled, we are gifted an essential oil with a gentle scent, harbouring notes of lavender and tea tree. Rosalina has been touted as one of Australia’s finest gifts to the aromatic world.
