My daughter getting her Spica cast removed. Sydney was born with a condition called hip dysplasia. Hip dysplasia is where the hip bone does not fall all the way into the socket like it is supposed to. It is caused by a number of different things. Sydney's was caused by her being breached in the womb. Breached is where the baby's legs are folded up by its head. She had a surgery at a very early age to try and correct the issue before it became a major problem. She was in traction for 6 weeks and was in her spica cast for 6 months. The surgery worked and now she is perfectly fine. Thank you all so much for watching!!!!
