I draw on my experience of applying for the Clinical Psychology Doctorate (DClinPsy), my successful and not-so-successful interviews, so you can learn from my mistakes and ABSOLUTELY SMASH yours. Although I am reflecting on my DClinPsy interviews, being honest I feel like this advice could be helpful for any psychology graduate looking to pursue psychology-themed jobs or further education.

- Why Clinical Psychology?
- What work/personal experience are you particularly proud of?
- Can you talk about a situation where you have overcome a challenge?
- How have you/would you resolve difficulties with clients?
- How would manage difficulties in your supervisory relationship?
- Can you talk about how you have applied psychological theory in practice?
- What are your strengths/weaknesses as a clinician/researcher?
- ***Practice designing a research project on the spot***

BUT!!! It's way more important to practice your interview TECHNIQUE (e.g. coming across confidently, thinking on the spot, managing difficult questions calmly), than practicing responses to specific questions.
