Joe Pepitone at Dan's Fields of Dreams

Yankees legend Joe Pepitone was one of three author-athletes to speak at the inaugural Dan's Fields of Dreams at Guild Hall of East Hampton on September 3, 2015. His book Joe, You Coulda Made Us Proud has been hailed as “one of the top 20 baseball books ever” by Esquire and “one of the most honest books ever written by a professional athlete” by Rolling Stone, and the tales he’ll tell at Guild Hall will open a door to sports stardom and celebrity like you’ve never seen or heard. Dan's Papers caught up with Joe prior to him joining Rudy Ruettiger, Dwier Brown and Stephen Costello on stage. Joe says he owes his baseball career to the early days of stick ball.
