Dragonrider | Testing the new Honda CB1000R on the racetrack | Circuit de Dijon

While participating on the Honda Fun Days in Dijon, I had the opportunity to test ride the new CB1000R. It has basically the same engine as my current track bike (CBR 1000 RR, SC57). But the engine was overhauled in many regards. It has smooth and yet very strong power delivery. It feels a lot more powerful subjectively.

If you ride the CB1000R you get the impression that the suspension is really not built for the race track and the stock tyres are not quite up for the task. Still felt very good to ride this in Dijon. Very smooth bike overall.
