http://www.NashuaRestoration.com - Nashua New Hampshire is located just 36 miles north of Boston and is the state’s second largest city.

The Historic North End's beautiful old homes and large, overgrown maples are the real draw for those tiring of the hustle and bustle of Boston's bedroom communities. Still, Nashua is no sleepy New England town, especially for those at home in the great outdoors. The North End borders Greeley Park, a place for summer picnicking and evening concerts, and is close to the Nashua River Rail Trail, a newly expanded, 17-mile-long waterfront bike route that takes riders across the Massachusetts border.

Dotted with elegant estates, classic Colonial Revivals and Ornate Queen Annes from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, the North End is one of Nashua’s most desirable neighborhoods.

This unique home at 85 Concord Street is sited on a half acre, and boasts a three story attached carriage house, five bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a full finished third level. Enjoy the charm of the 19th century combined with exceptional amenities that today’s busy lifestyles expect.

Built win 1989 by Captain Elijah Shaw, this home has remained untouched since that time with all of its period details and charm preserved until 2015, when a massive restoration effort began to bring this classic New England Victorian back to its original glory - with all of the modern conveniences. Along with intricate latticework, beautiful hardwoods, and custom fireplaces, we’ve added central air conditioning, triple pane windows, custom baths, refinished original flooring, a custom spiral staircase, multiple garage spaces, a second level laundry, attached three story carriage house and an amazing custom kitchen, complete with SubZero and Wolf appliances.

Captain Elijah M. Shaw was a civil war veteran who came to Nashua in the late 1800s to be the General Manger of the Nashua Manuafacting Company. An anecdotal story is that in the late 1800s, and early 1900s, laborers would travel from Lowell MA to Concord NH, mostly on foot. They would leave on Sunday, returing on Friday. The Shaw house was a frequent stop for them as they traveled as there was always hot soup on the stove and fresh bread for the weary laborers.

Just down the street from 85 Concord Street is Greeley Park is a public park occupying 125 acres and boasts numerous city events such as the Fairy Tale Festival, Art in the Park, Halloween “Fright Night” among others. The bandstand is active all spring and summer with plays, movies and music festivals. Hiking trails, horseshoe pits, ball fields and tennis courts make for a family friendly park throughout the year.

This is your opportunity to own one of the crown jewels of Nashua’s North End.

Happily Ever After begins right here at 85 Concord Street.
