It's been a looong time, but I'm back with another edit.
This time: a music video for Ariana's ''goodnight n go'', personally one of my favorite songs on Sweetener.
I'll see Ariana this Friday, August 23rd and I am still sad goodnight n go was scrapped off the setlist but I get it and I ofcourse support her decision.
However, I am obviously still very excited to see her and sing/scream all of her songs with her cause almost every song of hers is a masterpiece to me, especially her Sweetener and TUN material.

The idea behind this music video was to create a little memory lane of moments between Mac and her.
I've read on several platforms this was Mac's favorite song on Sweetener and almost everytime she performs this song, it seems it really gets to her as she shows she breaks a little inside by having a hard time singing it.
The lyrics can be seen/heard now as a memory that they once shared and how she wishes it could still be that way as some lyrics apply of the desires she still has.
However she knows they won't be able to relive their moments together in this life, so for now it's a ''say goodnight n go''.
The purple-ish close up shots of Ariana shows the present and the emptiness and sadness of what is left in that very moment. Same goes for the live performance at Coachella, where you can see her struggling in the presence.

Reminder: this is all creativity and fantasy and thoughts I put into my editing work. I love creating things like this as an imagination of what it must feel like. Nothing I say are actual facts - simply my opinions and thoughts on things and what I read online only.
Ofcourse parts of it are actually true, however keep in mind those are just creations I make to also progress things and so are my descriptions.
