Trumps have a REALLY bad day in their NY fraud trial; witness "ties Donald Trump to the conspiracy"

If you thought the New York fraud trial couldn't get any worse for Donald Trump - it just did. In a colossal tactical blunder, Trump's own lawyer put a witness on the stand that, as the Business Insider reported, "ties (Trump) to the conspiracy."

Trump's lawyers called as a witness longtime comptroller for the Trump Organization Jeffrey McConney. After Trump had previously testified that he knew little to nothing about the annual net-worth statements of his own business, McConney testified that the statements were actually provided to Trump for his final review. Indeed, the attorney for the New York Attorney General's office cross-examined McConney with this own hand-written note on the financial documents that plainly stated, " DJT to get final review." IN other words, Trump's own lawyers called a witness that blew up their client's defense. Only the best people . . .
