Wow 4 Unique MDRs - Celebrity Cruises Dining Room

Dining is a big part of the cruising experience and each cruise line does it differently. Celebrity Cruises dining room is all new. They have reinvented the main dining room experience on their new Edge class of ships. We are going to tell you everything you need to know about the newly redesigned MDR’s on Celebrity Cruises Edge and Apex to help you plan your vacation including which ones were our least and most favourite MDRs.

Celebrity Cruises main dining room is unlike any other cruise line. On Celebrity Cruises Apex and Edge instead of having 1 large dining room there are 4 different included MDRs each with their own theme and all are included. We get lots of questions about Celebrity Edge dining and the main dining rooms are not to be missed.

The first Celebrity Cruises dining room we discuss is Cosmopolitan restaurant. If you have sailed before this MDR will be most like the ones on other Celebrity Cruises. This restaurant is American themed with some global influences. You can feel the unique theming as soon as you walk through the wine display at the entrance.

The second main dining room on the Edge class is Normandie Restaurant. This is a modern french inspired MDR which was themed after a romantic day in Paris. You may notice the wood panels in the restaurant this is a nod to the original SS Normandie restaurant that was on the Celebrity Summit. This MDR is only open for dinner. There are some specialty cocktails like the Parisian. If you like French inspired food then this is the Celebrity Cruises dining room you will want to check out.

The third Celebrity Cruises main dining room we are looking at is Tuscan Restaurant. This is the italian themed MDR with food inspired by authentic italian eateries and homemade pasta. The theming here stands out the most compared to the others, with lots of whites, blacks and a pop of yellow. Like the other MDRs they have their own cocktails like the fizzing thyme.

I think we have saved the best for last, Cyprus restaurant. This is the Greek inspired restaurant which is representative of Celebrities Greek heritage. For a starter on the menu is a baked brie cheese, on our sailing they had a saganaki. You will not be disappointed in the selection and quality of Celebrity Cruises dining room options.
