✈️ Su-33 (Russia)
The Su-33 entered service in the mid-1990s as Russia’s primary carrier-borne fighter. It features folding wings, reinforced landing gear, and arrestor hooks designed specifically for aircraft carrier operations.
With a maximum take-off weight of around 33 tonnes and a weapons payload of 6,500 kg, the Su-33 is powered by twin AL-31F engines, reaching speeds of Mach 2.17 and offering a combat radius of approximately 1,000 km.

✈️ J-15 “Flying Shark” (China)
The J-15 entered service in the 2010s and is based on a Su-33 prototype acquired from Ukraine. While sharing a similar airframe, the J-15 incorporates modern Chinese avionics and weapon systems.
It also has a maximum take-off weight of around 33 tonnes, carries up to 6,500 kg of weapons, reaches speeds of Mach 2.2, and boasts a longer combat radius of about 1,200 km.
