Step by step pictorial. Use the widest wood that will fit. I used 1 x 5 lumber here and later had to add to it to make it 1 x 8. Upright fit cuts were made with saber saw. Stain is MINWAX Provincial 211. Shelf usable spacing in inches (from bottom up) Is 10, 9.5, 7.5, 4.5, 5.25, 5, 7, 6.5, 5, and 5. Add 3/4 inch between each. This spacing seems to fit all kinds of cans and boxes.
