Glidecam XR-1000 : GoPro 3 Black : First Test At the Equestrian Farm

Day one testing in the field with my new glidecam XR-1000. Quick cut of a few clips plus some music from good ol' April Wine so you don't have to listen to the slow mo noise.

Captured 60fps in 1080, full wide. and slowed to ~30-24fps playback in FCP X.

Overall pretty happy with my purchase of the $170 stabilizer. It was much more unstable after the initial unboxing. I spent a day gathering tools I needed to calibrate the gimbal and it made for a good experience on this first day testing it in the field. After I saw this footage, I further tweaked gimbal to eliminate some of the slight wobbling that remained..
