Taoism is an Eastern philosophy which has a close relationship with the Stoic concept of the logos. Taoists act in accordance with the Tao or the logos, a practice that is akin to acting in accordance with nature and the whole.

The founding of Taoism dates back the 4th century BCE, and came from the philosophy of keeping human behaviour in accordance with nature.
