Rodney Dangerfield always joked about his awful doctor, Dr. Vinnie Boombatz. “I tell you, with my doctor, I don’t get no respect. I told him I’d swallowed a bottle of sleeping pills. He told me to have a few drinks and get some rest.” In his 1983 TV special “I Can’t Take It No More”, Rodney finally put a face to the name when he cast Andy Kaufman to play the part.
