Land & Sea: Draggers and trawlers in the Port aux Basques winter fishery

In this archival episode of Land & Sea from 1990, we look at the winter fishery off the Southwest Coast of Newfoundland. Draggers and/or trawlers dominate the fishery, taking large catches and destroying the sea bed. The hook-and-line fishermen were left with nothing to catch and were facing hard times.
