The Araneta City, formerly Araneta Center, is a 35-hectare transit oriented, commercial mixed-use area situated in Cubao, Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines. It is located between Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA) and Aurora Boulevard and hosts the stations of the Manila Metro Rail Transit System Line 3 (Line 3) and the Manila Light Rail Transit System Line 2 (Line 2).

New Gateway mall is the expansion project of the Gateway Mall. With eight levels of retail, nine cinemas cineplex, a 3,500 square meter Gourmet Hall, and an iconic, 500-seater chapel. Aimed to "Redefine" the mall experience in the Philippines, The ₱6.5 Billion Expansion of the mall commenced in early 2017, As part of the Araneta Center Redevelopment Plan. It is to be built at the west side of the Smart Araneta Coliseum (Red Gate), adjacent to a planned Ibis Hotel branch and will have a designated roof deck activity area linking to Gateway Mall 1, an activity area, an organic vegetable garden, and an island restaurant-food court.
