As Christians, the first global mandate that we have is to establish the Lordship of Christ in the hearts of men. The spiritual system design to achieve this is the gospel. The gospel is the message that saves. We must contribute to this mandate. We must see to this that souls are saved not just in religious form. They should accept the Lordship of Christ. And it was for this reason that Holy Spirit was given. The second dimension of the mandate is that through dominion and influence the purposes and Lordship of Christ will be established across every stratum of human activities. We must understand the territorial and dominion dimensions of the gospel. This dimension of the gospel affects creation, sociology, and territory. The gospel is beyond your personal experience of salvation. There has to be intelligence supplied to the believer to be able to rise to the position of dominion and influence to compel our territories to come under the Lordship of Christ. We must view dominion from a kingdom perspective. Everything we do gains perspective when we bring it in consonance with the kingdom. We must rise up to the position where we are able to legislate on behalf of His majesty.
