Most pronunciation mistakes in French go forgiven, or even unnoticed because of the wider context of the conversation. But some, are just funny to native speakers' ears, and unfortunately means that what we say can make us a target for teasing, or even just cause confusion.

The "ou" sound in French is one of these causes of embarrassment in French. To fix it, first we need to notice it, and then learn to say it properly.
