End of Devolution - Westminster Trade Bill, Business For Scotland

Gordon MacIntyre-Kemp, (CEO of Business for Scotland), told the Westminster Trade Bill Committee that Devolution and Brexit are incompatible.

He warned that if the House of Lords follows the Commons in failing to protect devolved powers, then devolution as we know it will end.

No amendments to the Westminster Trade Bill were accepted by the 80+ majority Tory government.

So the Sewel Convention has proven to be worthless in protecting the devolved administrations competencies & put NHS Scotland, Scottish Water, Scotland's environment, farming, animal welfare & our food & drink industries at risk - ALL of which in turn put our health at risk.
