Stop Losing Your Custom Commands! (Save to .bashrc) 💾

Did your custom aliases disappear when you restarted the terminal? You need to save them in your .bashrc file!

The Command: nano ~/.bashrc

The Steps:

Scroll to the very bottom of the file.

Type your alias: alias update='sudo apt update'

SAVE IT: Press Ctrl+O, then Enter.

EXIT: Press Ctrl+X.

RELOAD: Type source ~/.bashrc to apply changes instantly.

Now your shortcuts will work forever!
