X-PRESS FOR FINNISH EDUCATION CENTER

A team of experts from the Vocational College Lappia in Lapland, Finnland has these days come to visit to the LEDINEK company for the technical acceptance of the
X-PRESS machine for the production of up to 8 m long Cross Laminated Timber elements.
LEDINEK managed to win the public tender where, among other things, the performance, reliability and the technical characteristics were of decisive importance.
The College in Kemi where the equipment will be installed is focused on providing good professional knowledge and competence to the students. The X-PRESS will be among others used for the production of CLT test houses in order to explore the climatic influences of the northern Finnish weather on the CLT elements.

Using domestic timber and the 1K PUR glue Lappia will be able to produce high quality CLT elements of the maximum dimensions 8 m x 3 m x 0,4 m.

The customer as well as the manufacturer were pleased with the results of the function and product testing and we look forward to install the X-PRESS at the customer's site and to commit it to its purpose.
