Christmas Tray with Decoupage Queen Paper and Resin

Hello friends! This is an upcycled thrift store tray that was in really sad shape. Here's how I brought it back to life!
Open Me

First I painted the tray three times with General Finishes stain blocker in white. It took all 3 coats because the wood kept bleeding through. The third time was a charm. Next I used the Decoupage Queen Christmas Squares paper in XL and cut out individual squares to make my own collage. I decoupaged them using Aleene's collage pauge. After that dried, I painted with Paint Couture pale gold metallic paint, two coats. Next I used Art Resin (7 oz) and poured a final resin layer. Finally I used Stamperia antiquing paste to tone down the brightness of the gold a bit.
