Salton Sea - How Can They Live Like This? Now We Get It

In this episode we visit a town from years past - Bombay Beach, just south of Joshua Tree National Park in California. We had heard about this place once inhabited by movie stars, musicians and America's elite. We had to check it out for ourselves. At first we saw it as a run down dilapidated neighborhood filled with junk and people who just gave up. WE WERE WRONG!!!! After spending the good part of an afternoon driving through the streets and walking the beaches, we soon realized that we had stumbled upon an artist's oasis. Bombay Beach is a place that leaves nothing to the imagination and yet, everything to the imagination. It's a refuge for artists looking to make their mark in and around the comfort of their own homes. We highly suggest that you visit. Oh, and watch out for the kids on the buggy. They move fast.
