Solo Flight to Rift Valley Training Area | Diamond DA40 NG

Had to return home base shortly after takeoff due to weather. It was my first time encountering positive wind shear (from 80 knots to about 100 knots) on my own. It was very unpleasant being thrown around by the wind when the instructor is not around. I tried so hard to hold my attitude that my nails are poking into the stick. The light rain and haze was not helping the situation any better. Unfortunately lesson has to be incomplete, but more importantly is that I made it back on the ground safely.
