GRASS silage harvest with MrsTheCamPeR & John Deeres | Elmcreek | Farming Simulator 22 | Episode 19

Today we are in Elmcreek with MrsTheCamPeR and we are harvesting grass silage. Our neighbor lets us cut his three grass fields for free so we can make some silage and also he let us use his mowers and windrow. We started with MrsTheCamPeR washing John Deere 8530 and Kuhn planter while I built the silage pit. After she finished washing equipment we detached the seeder and then we parked the tractor. Then while I swapped forks on John Deere 6120M for a bucket, MrsTheCamPeR got the John Deere 7810 ready. When we got everything ready we headed to the neighbor to get the equipment. I attached the mowers to the John Deere 8530 and helped MrsTheCamPeR attach the windrow to the John Deere 7810 and we headed to the first field. I started mowing the grass and MrsTheCamPeR made grass windrows. After I finished cutting the grass we swapped and I finished windrowing the rest of the field while MrsTheCamPeR finished mowing the last two small fields. We then returned the equipment and we headed to the local dealer to get the forage harvester and two trailers. We got John Deere 3955 with grass pickup and two Gehl 1620 forage trailers. Back at the field, I started loading grass into the trailer while MrsTheCamPeR waited for the full trailer. When I got the trailer full we swapped trailers and she transported the full trailer to the farm and unload the grass. We finished one field and then we swapped, I was transporting grass and she was loading the grass. After I unloaded the grass into the silo the bunker silo got full so I had to do some leveling and compacting and then I continued carting. When we finished with grass silage we returned back to the farm and unloaded all the grass we had. Then MrsTheCamPeR washed the equipment and I finished unloading the grass into the silage pit. After she got everything washed I did some leveling and compacting in the silage pit. Then we parked everything and headed inside the house for a lunch break.
