A Lebanese journalist was killed in an Israeli airstrike in southern Lebanon on Wednesday. Rescue teams recovered her body hours after the attack amid continued hostilities linked to the ongoing Israel–Hezbollah conflict. The reporter, Amal Khalil of Al-Akhbar, had taken shelter in a house in the village of al-Tiri while covering the fighting. According to Lebanese authorities, the strike that hit the house came shortly after an earlier Israeli attack in the area. Watch.
