Problem Intersection - Service Road and Trussville-Clay Road - Trussville, AL

A chronic problem exists at the intersection of Service Road and Trussville-Clay Road. Traffic turning right onto Service Road must yield to ALL traffic, including those turning left from Trussville-Clay Road with a green arrow or just a green light! This is verified by the traffic engineer for the City of Trussville, Wayne Sullivan and Sgt. Chuck Bradford with the Trussville Police Department.

The yield on green light for traffic turning left from Trussville-Clay Road is ONLY for yielding to Southbound traffic. Once onto Service Road, as this video illustrates, the vehicle turning right MUST YIELD TO ALL TRAFFIC. The green light DOES NOT CONTROL TRAFFIC TURNING RIGHT.

My dash-cam video is a perfect example of another vehicle not even slowing down for the Yield sign and almost colliding with me turning left.
