A Message from Beyond the Arctic Circle - Sailing the Norway Coastal Cruise with Hurtigruten

I just returned from a 12 day cruise along Norway's rugged coast. I was travelling with my friend Kathleen and we shared a small inside cabin on Hurtigruten's MS Nordlys. The name of the ship translates to Northern Lights, and Mother Nature did not let us down! Pictures of a small part of what we saw are included in this video.

The cruise started in Bergen and went all the up past the Arctic Circle to Kirkenes stopping at some of the most amazing towns along the way.

This video does not include images of the ship or the food and decor - that will be in another video. It does take you on they journey with me from town to town and shares my excitement and complete satisfaction with the Hurtigruten staff and the beautiful Nordlys! It is due for a renovation in 2019 but i loved it just the way it was. Yes, we have a few rough seas but this ship (and Hurtigruten in general) are made to sail these waters!!!

I really hope you enjoy the video. It is the first of our She Cruises expeditions! This is my style. It's what I do. You won't find over promotion or technical details when i review a ship. I will talk about how the cruise affected me, how it transformed and changed me in some way. What i learned, not just what I did!
