Kymco UXV 500i fuel pump replacement

The kymco uxv / utv began getting hard to start for a while and then just wouldn't start at all. I didn't think it was the pump until I took the seats and engine cover off because when you turn the key you would hear a little humm like a pump. The problem is that the sound was coming from under the airbox I don't really know what it runs but you definitely could tell that the tank pump was not running. As a test, I sprayed a little starting fluid and it cranked right up. The part for this particular model seems to be impossible to find but check the comments below in case someone helps with a good lead! This video shows how I fixed mine with what I could find for a replacement part.
