Warm weather in Michigan means its time for more DIY projects! In this episode, the Conlins and I tackle a number of tasks.

We start off with setting up cinderblock and 2x4 benches for prospective beehives with Jeff and Chip of "Bees in the D"---a non profit organization focused on native pollinator conservation. These guys were awesome and super knowledgeable! We had a great time getting to know each other and working together, as well as strengthening the Appalachia-Midwest connection!

In the mid afternoon, we pulled out the ol' fishing boat for seasonal maintenance. This included motor and transom replacement, tire filling, and some much needed cleaning.

Finally, in the early evening we hit the water for the maiden voyage of the season! The water was cold, but the sun was warm which made for e relaxing and enjoyable ride. We also saw a blue heron, mink, and a lone swan! Forrest really enjoyed the worms lololol!
