César Franck: Transcriptions for organ played on the Pierre Schyven organ of Antwerp Cathedral

For his new album "César Franck: Transcriptions" the Antwerp Cathedral titular organist Peter Van de Velde" has recorded orchestral works, chamber music and piano music by César Franck in organ transcriptions. It is his second album after the restoration of the monumental Pierre Schyven organ (1891), which was carried out by Orgelbau Schumacher (http://www.orgel-schumacher.com) from 2015 to 2018. Our video trailer shows three excerpts from the 74-minute program: Prélude, Choral et Fugue, Larghetto from the String Quartet and the beginning of the finale from the D Minor Symphony. The SACD comes in an elegant DPac and with a 36-page booklet in four languages with many illustrations.
