Celebración Sculptures by Michele van den Heuvel 3D 180 VR

This 3D 180 VR video provides a look at two Celebración sculptures, which were created by Michele van den Heuvel and are currently on display at the Rio Washingtonian Center as part of the Art in Public Places Program in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Working primarily in bronze, Heuvel creates whimsical interactive sculptures that invite discovery, discourse, engagement, and exploration. The Celebración sculptures featured in this video consist of a large cat and a bear sitting on separate benches, as well as their books which are placed on pedestals next to the benches. These sculptures are located near the lake bridge at the Center.
