Hidden Gem of Africa : Cape Verde

In this video, I take you along on an unexpected and adventurous journey that started at New York Airport, all thanks to a super cheap $200 flight I found online!

🗽 I kick things off in NYC, then board a flight to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, where I have a brief layover. I spend some time exploring the airport before catching my connecting flight to Cape Verde.

🌍 After landing in Cape Verde, I go through immigration — and it was surprisingly smooth! I also share some important information about visa requirements for Cape Verde travelers.

🚕 From there, I grab a taxi and head straight to my hotel. But the journey doesn’t end there…

🏛️ The next day, I visit the Embassy of Guinea-Bissau to apply for my visa to yet another new destination. I successfully get the visa, return to the hotel, and wrap up this leg of the adventure.

📍 From New York to Portugal via the Caribbean and West Africa — this trip was full of surprises and travel hacks!
