Land Speed Racer by Foil Hat Racing 500cc Motorcycle goes 184 MPH at Loring Maine
This 500cc land speed racing motorcycle was built by Foil Hat Racing of Horsham, PA. Since their debut at Bonneville Speed Week in 2011, where they shattered four records, the team has continued to refine this motorcycle, which began life as a 1984 Honda VF500. Poor salt conditions have kept them off the long tracks at Bonneville where they hope to break the 200-mph mark, but this 184 mph, one-mile run at Loring looks very promising.
