1 needle & 2 needle flat stitch beading techniques

Here are 2 examples of flat stitching used in native American beadwork. First example is one needle flat stitch. Second example is 2 needle flat stitch. These are techniques I've acquired over the years and there is no one right way. Which ever way suits you is the best method. I am using Nymo size D thread and John James needles(size 12 Shapes)
I am beading in EZ Felt
Yes I am beading on top of paper. It does not rip away afterward. It's forever underneath the beadwork.
